Abstract:

Although entrepreneurial learning, entrepreneurial bricolage, business model innovation, and environmental uncertainty are significant factors affecting the success of startup small and medium-sized platform enterprises (SMPEs), platform entrepreneurs are primarily concerned with the survival and expansion of startup SMPEs. This study uses semi-structured in-depth interviews, grounded theoretical thinking methods, and NVivo 11.0 Plus analysis software to systematically examine the factors that influence the startup performance of SMPEs. In startup SMPEs, the enhancement of performance is driven by sexual factors. Entrepreneurial learning, entrepreneurial bricolage, and their interaction terms influence startup performance; entrepreneurial learning, entrepreneurial bricolage, and interaction terms influence business model innovation; business model innovation influences startup performance; business model innovation mediates the relationship between entrepreneurial learning, entrepreneurial bricolage, and business model innovation.
